Dear Mill Park Footy Families,

The Committee has developed a return to training plan which meets the requirements of the NFNL and Whittlesea Council, and with the Financial Support of our Sponsors we are able to go ahead with the training plan, bearing in mind that a season has not been 100% confirmed as yet. This will be confirmed in the first week of July as outlined in the recent Statement from the NFNL to support Junior Footy.

Our planned return to training is from Saturday 13th June, which allows us to have the following 30 minute briefings via Zoom which form part of the plan:

Tuesday 9th June, 7.00pm:

Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Team Managers

Wednesday 10th June

5.00pm: Parents of U9 – U12 (players are welcome to sit in too)

7.00pm: Parents of U13 – U17 (players are welcome to sit in too)

The invite to these briefings will be emailed to you via the email you have registered with, or if not registered – provided to your Team Manager, early next week. The purpose is to take you through the ‘Return to Training’ Plan and explain Parent and Player responsibilities.

We are committed to seeing our players back training for Football – we’ve all missed it – in a way that is cognisant of the protection protocols. All our Executive Committee members, Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Team Managers will undertake the following module and we recommend that parents download the COVID Safe App also.

Please review the NFNL Parent Checklist as well as the NFNL Statement regarding 19’s and Senior Football. Unfortunately our U19’s won’t have a season, hopefully they will be able to offer support to some of the Junior Teams.

If you have any questions, please email secretary@millparkfc.com.au, I’ll collate them before the briefing and address them in the presentation.

Many thanks for your ongoing patience.

Regards,

MPFC Executive Committee
