'Jimmy' Dellaportas celebrates his 50 game milestone this Sunday!

The tough and ferocious forward has been taking some big marks so far this season and we're all looking forward to him running out with his U13 Blue team mates to take some more this Sunday!

⚪🔵Round 4 fixture⚪🔵

It's Round 4, and the last round of grading, this weekend!

We're hosting 5 games of footy on Sunday so come down and cheer on the Stallions!
The bacon and egg rolls have been selling out quickly so make sure you're there early! Grab a Degani Plenty Valley coffee while you're there and some hot chips or something else amazing from the canteen!

We've also got teams playing right through the area and don't forget our U9 White's are playing tomorrow night (Friday 15th May) at Redleap Reserve in a night game from 6.15pm! The canteen will be open before and during the game so come down for a Friday night feast and watch some footy from our future stars!

🔵⚪Sit Down Round🔵⚪

This Sunday, The Mill Park Football Club has partnered with the Northern Football Netball League to lead the way in participating in AFL Victoria Sit Down Round in which all coaches will remain seated for the duration of the game.

Sit Down Road aims to unite community coaches and clubs across the country under a shared commitment: to support a positive experience for players, umpires, and volunteers.

Sit Down Road has been held successfully in the Yarra Junior Football League and throughout South Australia to amazing success:

🏉It led to a 50% decrease in red cards for on-field incidents.
🏉SANFL Juniors reported a 60% decrease in "poor" behaviour ratings for coaches
🏉Feedback indicates that sitting down helps coaches remain calmer and less likely to yell at umpires or players.

This initiative reinforces respect, calm leadership, and a welcoming environment for everyone involved in community football.
